"Dear Mom" was my first editorial project, created in 2021 during my academic studies. Inspired by the documentary Vietnam, Post-War Scenes by Ugo Gregoretti and Romano Ledda, I developed the book using InDesign, supplemented with insights from books and blogs. I divided the project into two parts: the first, with intense, violent tones to reflect the war, and the second, using a green palette to symbolize post-war rebirth and well-being. Throughout the book, fragments of a soldier’s letter to his mother add emotional depth, enhancing the narrative's human perspective.
