This project involved designing and developing the institutional website for Caruso Ristorante Museo and adapting its visual identity for social media and print materials. The goal was to create a digital presence that reflects the unique venue experience, where fine dining and works of art merge.
The challenge
The main challenge was balancing two distinct concepts gastronomic excellence and a museum ambiance within a single, appealing, and cohesive user interface. The site needed to be elegant, functional (for reservations and menus), and simultaneously serve as a showcase for the venue's art and history, all while maintaining intuitive navigation.
The approach
I used Figma to prototype a clean design, placing great emphasis on high-quality photography of the dishes and interiors. Generative AI Tools were utilized to create background textures and abstract graphic elements that recall classical art in a modern key. Illustrator was essential for finalizing the branding templates (social media, digital menus), ensuring chromatic and typographic consistency across all media, translating the museum identity into a contemporary digital language.
